Fellowship Program

Our fellowship is a high-growth training program for students looking to build their product skills and break into PM roles. Through weekly lessons, hands-on exercises, and guidance from experienced product managers, fellows learn what it means to think and work like a PM. Throughout the semester, you’ll prepare for a capstone project with a real company and gain the tools to navigate interviews for competitive internships and full-time roles.

Timeline

Summer Cohort

Fall Cohort

Fellowship (June-August)

You’ll begin your fellowship lessons online over the summer. During this time, we’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of product management and help you get comfortable with key concepts and tools. The summer cohort is also a great opportunity to meet new people, build early connections, and ease into the program at your own pace.

Capstone (September-November)

Once the academic year begins, you’ll apply what you’ve learned through a capstone project with a real company. You’ll be matched based on your interests and availability, giving you the chance to work on meaningful problems while building practical PM experience. Throughout the semester, you’ll also attend weekly fellowship meetings to check in on your progress, learn new skills, and prepare for the upcoming recruitment cycle.

Presentations (December)

To wrap up the program, you’ll present your capstone project to the cohort and the broader Vanderbilt community. This is your chance to showcase your work, share what you’ve learned, and celebrate the growth you’ve made throughout the fellowship.
